If your oven has stopped producing heat but otherwise appears to operate correctly its highly likely that your ovens element has failed and needs replacing, thankfully, as i've recently found out this is'nt a big or expensive job and can be replaced quickly and easily with few tools.
Our element failed recently whilst my wife was cooking a casserole, the oven appeared to be fine (light and fan were working), but upon checking the casserole my wife found the oven to be stone cold. To remove the element on our oven it literally involved removing the oven back panel, which was held in with 4 screws and another 3 screw that held the element in place.
REMEMBER TO SWITCH OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN BEFORE WORKING ON IT
Once the element was unscrewed all that was left was to remove the two electrical connectors attached to the element (be careful that the wires donot drop back through the hole in the back of the oven.) Once i had the element out it was clear that it was the element at fault, you could see where the element has failed, it was blackened and marked around the failure point.
I was able to locate a replacement element for my model which arrived quickly and fitment was a reversal of removal, and my oven was repaired and working for under £20!
